Rule #1

During the long winter holiday break i found myself ready to try being bald. I would never shave my head but ripping it out had crossed my mind. I didn't sign up to raise bickering girls, and I know they came with outside plumbing-why did I think over night they had grown ponytails and put on dresses? Yep-my oldest boys sounded just like little girls. The baby just gleefully chased them as they fought about petty things. MANY petty things.

You smell-you smell worse. I hate you. I hate you more. Well at least I don't.........but you did this........ Oh my goodness, can January 4 get here quickly? MOOOMMMMMMM! He is a thief-the worst kind, a sneaky thief! He got this out of my room.....he didn't knock......See, he ruined it. Yeah but he........

OK Mommas DONE! I have always been a fly by the seat of my pants parent-not necessarily the best option-but for the most part has worked for me. No longer-I am back to work after 10 years of staying at home. We needed guidelines and needed them now! Have a mentioned I couldn't wait for winter break to be over? The older ones can go back to school, baby to daycare where he gets to play with the other innocents little souls who haven't decided that their brothers smell and they hate them. I will be going back to my work place and celebrate the milestones of the students I work with.

Rule #1
Respect all members of this family-even if you don't like them or think they smell.

As simple as it seems, this rule is the hardest to follow for my boys.
Jasper, my oldest (and smelliest, as he is going through puberty) Leo, the middle man. He has a heart bigger than Alaska-but a fiery temper twice that size when he is pushed. Little Biddy-dang he is cute. The leader of the Pack is my main man Bubble. I keep the show running-they call me Big Mac.

Big Mac is tired, weary from the battle of winter break. Yes-it is over tomorrow, we all go back to school. Our routine begins again. I look forward to each new day to see what it has to offer and the opportunity to love my guys even more. Yes, they smell, they hate each other, but all 4 of them are mine-and I love them sooo much! They are the best even at their worst. My guys.
